And, depending on which day you sell, that number could be even higher. According to the analysis, the top five most profitable days of the year to sell a home all fall in May:

• May 16 at 17.3% (over the estimated market value)
• May 19 at 16.2%
• May 20 at 16.8%
• May 23 at 19.3%
• May 27 at 17.4%
