1) Skirting the Issue of Clutter
Bed skirts haven’t been “in” for quite some time, which is a shame, because they’re a great way to hide stuff under your bed! Luckily they’re back in style for 2024, so if you’ve been rocking the dust ruffle for the past few decades, now it can double as a trendy look and a great way to store any clutter you want to hide from potential buyers who’ll be sizing up how much storage space you have in your closets.
2) No Stripping Needed
If you’ve been meaning to strip the wallpaper off your bedroom walls since the day you bought your house, but never found the time or energy to do it, 2024 is the year to sell your house! Interior designers have officially proclaimed that fully wallpapered bedrooms will “add a lot of personality” to your boudoir.
3) Get Your Kid’s Art Framed
“Locally crafted artwork” is also all the rage for 2024. So if you have a box full of your kid’s artwork from school that’s been taking up precious space in your bedroom closet saving it for some special moment in time, grab a few pieces of it, get them framed, and hang ‘em over your headboard. 4) Do Not Dry Clean
Got a coffee or wine stained comforter on your bed that you’ve been using for years? No worries! According to experts, patterned bedding will be all the rage. Rather than buy new stuff, or send your existing one out to the dry cleaners, just call yours “patterned.” If it isn’t patterned enough, treat yourself to breakfast in bed and go nuts with the syrup.
