There’s no denying that location plays a huge part in how much you can get for your house — and how quickly it’ll sell. But even a house in the worst location will appeal to some buyers in the market!
However, they may have some concerns and ask the seller how much of an issue it is living in the location…
So let’s take a look at some tongue-in-cheek ways to accentuate the positive aspects of living next to 6 of the most common less-than-ideal locations buyers have concerns about:
Living on a main road is so much better than living on a quiet street! Think about how boring it’d be watching the same exact cars go by every single day, pretty much at the same time of day. Plus, living on a main road allows you the opportunity to see almost every kind of car on the market, which helps make choosing the next make and model you want to buy easier!
Saying the neighbors are quiet might sound cliche, but it’s true! And there’s not much threat of anyone building anything that’ll obstruct your view.
People pay a premium to live in a house near the ocean just to hear the waves, and they’re not even guaranteed waves every minute of the day! On the other hand, you have the opportunity to pay less for a house that comes with 24-hour Zen-inducing white noise caused by the electromagnetic waves right outside your back door.
Everyone else in town hears sirens and has to hop on the local Facebook group and ask if anyone else is hearing them, and if anyone knows what happened. All you have to do to get the scoop is walk next door and ask! It’s your choice how you use that insider info: you can either become the local go-to source of information, or just hoard your secrets to yourself.
Those tracks are the perfect balance beams to get some exercise and agility training in, without having to join a gymnastics team. Besides, you get an even better workout than someone who has soft pads to land on, and doesn’t have to worry about locomotives!
Central air is nice and all, but there’s something to be said for just opening up your windows and having a constant breeze making your curtains billow! Bonus: You can use all the money you save on cooling will to upgrade to first-class the next time you fly!
